Merko Ehitus, Estonian construction company, has reached a revenue of EUR 87.4M (+1% y/y) and earned a profit of EUR 7.4% (-30% y/y) during the third financial quarter. This is seen as a first warning sign of the impact the deteriorating real estate market situation will have on the construction industry’s margins. We expect sustained downward pressure on the stock price in the short term.
Silvano Fashion Grop, Estonian apparel retailer, has announced to have earned a profit of EUR 1M (-89% q/q) on a revenue of EUR 25.4M (-3% q/q) during Q3. Although the profit decrease should not be taken into account at face value due to one-off items, a margin of only 4% is slightly worrisome and is expected to drive share price further down during the week.
Sanitas, Lithuanian generic pharmaceuticals supplier, has earned an EBITDA of LTL 6.57M, and a net profit of LTL 0.9M during October. Although the result, apparently due to exchange rate impact, is slightly below our expectations, we anticipate the share price to rebound during the week after the recent sharp drop in share price of close to -20%, as company’s earnings prospects are still on target.
