Trigon New Europe Small Cap Fund is a value fund that invests in listed small and mid cap companies of the European Union new member states and accession countries. Currently, the Fund focuses on Poland.

Trigon New Europe Small Cap Fund focuses on Polish small and mid cap companies for two reasons - the expected acceleration of Polish economic growth supported by domestic demand, and a large and undervalued equity market. With over 250 listed companies and nearly EUR 170m of daily turnover Poland is the most active stock market in New Europe. After the three-year rally in New Europe we believe that small and mid-sized companies that are not on the radar screens of international investors can offer the best upside potential in 2006-2007. With over 200 uncovered stocks the Polish equity market provides stock-pickers like Trigon with exceptional investment opportunities. The fund is currently invested in over 50 Polish companies, a majority of which are under-researched, therefore not popular and most importantly undervalued.
