Investment in a diversified portfolio of equity securities and equity-related securities located in or exposed to growth in Russia Ukraine and the region of Central Asia (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan). The Sub-Fund will invest in securities of Russian companies traded in the “Russian Trading System Stock Exchange” (RTS Stock Exchange) and “Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange” (MICEX). The portfolio will comprise equities and equity-related transferable securities of Russian, Ukrainian and CIS companies and/or companies with a business focus on Russia, Ukraine and CIS and/or registered office in Russia, Ukraine and CIS, including investments in Global, European and American Depository Receipts. In addition the Sub-Fund may invest in equity warrants and participation certificates in any currency issued by Russian, Ukrainian and CIS companies, and/or companies with a business focus on Russia, Ukraine and CIS, or on securities of such companies. This Sub-Fund may also invest in UCITS and in closed and open-ended country funds which primarily invest in the same type of securities as described above. The Sub-Fund could invest up to a maximum of 25% of its net assets in fixed income securities and money market instruments. The Sub-Fund may also invest in warrants. Investors into this Sub-Fund should be aware of the specific risks that may be incurred by an investment in this Sub-Fund (as described in Section 5 of Prospectus).
