Sampo Compass 50 is a fund that invests its assets into other mutual funds. The neutral allocation of the fund’s assets is 50 % in euro-based interest instruments and 50 % in international equities. On average 10 % of the assets is invested in Finnish, 20 % in other European, 15 % in North American and 5 % in Asian and Pacific Region equities. The fund is suitable for an investor, whose aim is to achieve better returns than one can get from fixed income investments with a risk level that is lower than in equity investments and who wants to take advantage of the fund’s expertise on diversifying its assets between fixed income investments and equities. The recommended investment period is over three years. The fund’s benchmark index is a composite of 10% OMX Helsinki Cap Index, 20 % MSCI Europe (TR) Index, 15 % MSCI North America (TR) Index, 5 % MSCI Pacific (TR) Index, 45 % JP Morgan EMU Bond Index and 5% 3 Month Euribor Index.
